At Exotic Epoxy, our one-day polyaspartic system is designed for maximum efficiency without compromising quality. Here's what the process looks like from start to finish:
We start by mechanically grinding the concrete to remove imperfections, open up the pores, and ensure strong adhesion. Cracks and minor damage are repaired using industrial-grade fillers.
A durable, tinted polyaspartic base coat is applied to create a solid foundation. This layer bonds tightly to the prepared concrete surface for long-term durability.
While the base coat is still wet, we broadcast your chosen vinyl flakes (available in many colors and blends) to full coverage. This adds texture, color, and slip resistance.
Once cured, we scrape the surface to remove loose flakes and smooth out the texture. The floor is then vacuumed clean and prepped for sealing.
A UV-stable, chemical-resistant clear polyaspartic top coat is applied to seal the flakes and protect your floor. This top layer provides a glossy, seamless finish that's ready for foot traffic in just a few hours.
